Bought the WC68 to use with a JD3520 and it works great. Have about 10 hours on it so far and it makes short work of the small trees and limbs. Should have bought it years ago!

I bought the chipper last fall 2019 but didn't get a chance to assemble and use it before the snow came. The instructions for assembly are logical and well presented. I gave it the first run today and I'm very pleased with the performance. I think my family and I will enjoy using the WC68 Woodchipper for many years to come

I purchased the WC68 chipper June of 19, it is powered by a 2002 Branson 3520 29HP at PTO I use the indeed speed set to the middle. I never write reviews I feel obligated to do so with this chipper due to how amazing it performs under consistent hard use. So far I have thinned 5 acres of heavy underbrush on my land. Chipping all 6” and under trees. I have a wide range of hardwoods and pine that the WC68 has chipped. The powerful indeed wheel will grab the entire tree and chip it with very little effort. I still haven’t reversed the blades after all the use, and anticipate not needing to for quite some time. The only thing I have found that is a minor design flaw is the bottom hopper steel either should have been made flush where it connects to the infeed or should be set higher. It’s made to be roughly 1/4” lower, with it being low it does catch the butts of trees when you have an arm full. Other than that I highly Recommend this chipper to everyone.

After a lot of research, I decided to purchase the Woodland Mills WC68 chipper for my 29 Horsepower New Holland tractor, which delivers 25 horsepower to the PTO. I took delivery of my chipper in late December. As I opened the packaging, I noticed that there had been great care taken by the factory to package the unit to prevent damage during shipping. Assembly took about four hours and was fairly easy. The factory had already done most of the assembly. As I was assembling the unit, I noticed that the unit is very well built. The steel that is used is thick and the welds were complete and nicely done. The hydraulic components are front line components and, if needed, easily replaced by most hydraulic distributors. It is now early March and I have about 40 hours of use on the chipper. I have chipped pine and oak, up to the 6" maximum, and the unit has handled these trees and limbs without a problem. I have been able to chip manzanitta up to 5", any larger than that, the unit will not digest the limbs. The manznitta is very dense and hard. The feed wheel feature is a huge plus for this machine. We have cut down trees that are 20' - 25' tall, 4" - 5" in diameter, trimmed some of the lower limbs and fed them right into the chipper. The feed wheel assists in feeding the chipper very nicely. You will have to adjust the speed of the feed wheel from time to time, depending on what you are feeding into the chipper. I usually just leave it on a slower feed speed, in order not to jam the machine. The chipper blades are holding their edge, I have not had to reverse them yet. It is important to clean your chipper regularly. This also allows you to visually inspect all of the components too. The adjustable discharge spout has been a good feature. The chips are discharged into a trailer and the trailer is moved to where I want to spread them on the ground. The adjustable discharge spout allows for even filling of the trailer without having to do much moving of the chips in the trailer. The chipper has allowed me to clear a lot of area in a short amount of time. Much quicker that trying to cut and burn the trees and bushes that need to be removed. This was a large investment for me and I am very please with the choice that I made. This is a well designed and well built machine.

Great customer service and great equipment. The Chipper had heavy duty components, works great. Just clear 1 acre and chipped the branches in no time.

Very nice piece of equipment. Being 80 yrs old I didn’t need anyone to get it going. Easy to assemble, install and operate. In my first try when coupled to a 31hp 36yr old John Deere I produced two cubic yards of chips which I can use for various things. My only hope is that it lasts a long time. Of course, that only time will tell.

We live on a small 640 acre ranch in East Texas and brush clearing, especially on fence lines, is always part of maintenance. Before purchasing our Woodland Mills chipper/shredder, we left piles behind to "burn later". Usually those piles stayed for months or years. Now, the piles are gone and beautiful mulch is left to decompose in the soil. This machine is rugged, safe and very well made. I had no idea how much we would use it and enjoy the results. Thank you for putting the best North American materials and engineering into your superior product. Sincerely and gratefully, David from Texas

I have had the chipper for nearly two years now and I can say I’m very pleased with its performance. I run it on my John Deere 1050 and have put quite a pile of brush and tops through it without incident. It’s a rugged, well thought out piece of equipment. No more brush piles all over my property! I burn nearly 8 cord a winter and what I don’t burn, I chip. Woodland mills has been a pleasure to deal with! Thank you
