This thing is a beast! Get yours now! You will not regret it!
Saved me so much time.
This piece of equipment is great! Set up was a breeze and I found the instructions easy to follow. This is my second buy from Woodland Mills and I couldn't be happier.
Pros: well made, decent capacity, all metal product except for a few hand knobs. Cons: under powered on wide cuts, will do it just very slow. Needs a V-twin 20's HP. Time consuming to put together. Overall: good hobby mill for the $. Other brands fall short in the specs to $ comparison. If your on the fence its a buy in my opinion. Get the hm130 max over smaller models.
My 20 acre parcel was part of a large fire here in the PNW. I didn't have the money to hire anyone to clean up so I purchased one of these mills to do the work myself. This may be my favorite tool I have ever owned. It is easy to use and because I got it quickly I was able to salvage a lot of lumber. Impressive price for an impressive product.
We live on 5 acres that are densely wooded with birch, ash, beech, maple, and hemlock trees, and because it snows a lot here, there is LOTS of "tree litter" each year to be cleaned up after winter is over. Before getting the WC68, I hauled all those branches to my town stump dump for them to burn. With the WC68, I'm chipping it all now instead, and using the chips as fill for low spots and for garden mulch. I've got 100 hours on my tractor now, and the most productive and enjoyable of those hours have been when I've been using my WC68.
Very good entry point for land owner or hobbiest. Love my mill - I already recoup my money today considering the price of the lumber.
